The Role:
We are looking for a full-time, in-person YouTube Pattern Finder & Researcher (Technical) in Gurugram.
What we are looking for:
Strong reading, writing and research skills, especially in technical domains.
Strong curiosity and interest in the field of technology and the future.
Ability to deep dive into tech subjects that usually scare normal people away.
Strong observational skills, so you can notice the tiniest of details and patterns.
Habit of fixing problems and figuring things out fast.
High agency behaviour and the ability to do and finish things on time.
Interest in reading and finding new things across X, LinkedIn, Paid Subscriptions, Magazines & Newsletters.
Responsibilities:
Doom scrolling YouTube every single day, carefully monitoring what people are interested in and what is working for competitors.
Research, evaluate, and shortlist new trending topics before any other tech channel picks them up by regularly scanning X and Newsletters.
Finding patterns in successful thumbnails and YouTube Titles, being able to capture the core emotion behind why something works.
Remembering these patterns, insights, and behavioural observations, and conveying them to the YouTube Manager, Writers, and Editors.
Making a list of ideas for new thumbnails, titles, and hook scripts, and sharing them on Slack.
Regularly reading about new technology and its impact to understand what kind of YouTube patterns can be used to make content on that information.
